Black Nore Review takes its name from Black Nore Lighthouse, which has stood on the coast near Portishead, overlooking the Severn Estuary, since 1894.

Unlike my previous online journal, Clear Poetry, I’m not launching this site with a manifesto – I’ll simply publish poems or flash pieces that I like.

Owing to time constraints, I’m unable to accept submissions from outside Europe.
